The Astar and Soneium ecosystems continue to evolve, creating new avenues for builders, traders, and communities to thrive. With Astar Contribution Score (ACS) Season 5 and the Soneium Creator Contest launching simultaneously, memecoins on Soneium now have a structured path to gain visibility, secure liquidity, and earn direct ACS rewards.
This is more than just a competition — it is a well-defined incentive program designed to drive real activity, encourage sustainable growth, and reward active participants. Projects that meet the requirements have a clear path to gaining visibility, securing liquidity, and growing within the Soneium ecosystem.
Contest Overview
- Start Date: April 1, 2025, 13:00 UTC (Aligned with ACS Season 5)
- End of First Season: April 11, 2025, 13:00 UTC
- Contest Types: Daily and seasonal contests
- Hosted By: SoneFi
- Reward Pool: 0.5% of total ACS distributed directly to liquidity providers of winning memecoins
The contest is structured to reward active trading and liquidity growth while ensuring fair competition among participating memecoins.
Eligibility Criteria
To participate, memecoins must meet the following conditions:
- Must be launched on Soneium through the SoneFi Meme Launchpad
- Must be live for at least 48 hours before competing
Eligibility for Different Contests
- Daily Contest: A memecoin must have been launched at least 48 hours before the round starts.
- Example: To enter the contest on April 1, the token must have been launched by March 30, 13:00 UTC.
- Season Contest: Memecoins must have been launched at least 48 hours before the season ends.
- Tokens launched after April 9, 12:59 UTC, are ineligible.
How Winners Are Determined
Memecoins are ranked using three key factors, each weighted differently:
- Market Cap: 30%
- Price Increase: 20%
- Trading Volume: 50%
The final score is calculated using this weighted ranking system:
Score = (Market Cap Rank × 30%) + (Price Increase Rank × 20%) + (Trading Volume Rank × 50%)
A lower score indicates a higher rank. If two memecoins have the same score, the one with the higher trading volume ranks higher. If that is also the same, market cap is the final deciding factor.
Winning Benchmarks
To qualify for rewards, a memecoin must meet the following criteria:
- Bonding: The token must be bonded.
- Market Cap: Must reach at least $10,000.
- Trading Activity: Must record at least 100 transactions.
- Holder Distribution: The top 10 holders (excluding bonded liquidity) must collectively hold 20% or less of the total supply.
ACS Rewards Distribution
The contest distributes ACS directly to liquidity providers of the winning memecoins. The rewards are divided between daily and seasonal contests.
Daily Contest Rewards
- Each day, one memecoin is crowned the King of the Daily, with 37,500 ACS distributed to its liquidity providers.
- Over 10 days, a total of 375,000 ACS will be distributed.
- A memecoin can only win once per season in the daily contest but remains eligible for the season contest.
This brings the total daily reward pool to 2,250,000 ACS.
Season Contest Rewards
At the end of the contest, the top six memecoins are awarded ACS based on their rankings:
- 1st place: 120,000 ACS
- 2nd place (2 winners): 80,000 ACS each
- 3rd place (3 winners): 59,444 ACS each
This brings the total seasonal reward pool to 458,333 ACS.
Additional Contest Rules and Guidelines
- The ACS rewards will be distributed within 24 hours after the winners are announced on Discord and X.
- If the top-ranked memecoin does not meet the contest benchmarks, verification moves to the next highest-ranking token.
- Leaderboard data is updated in real time (with a 10-minute delay).
- Wash trading, self-dealing, bulk wallet manipulation, or IP infringement will result in disqualification.
- SoneFi reserves the right to adjust contest rules or eligibility criteria at its discretion.
Participants should assess their risk tolerance before engaging, as memecoins are highly volatile assets and subject to market fluctuations.
Why This Matters
The Soneium Creator Contest, combined with ACS Season 5, brings a new level of visibility, engagement, and direct incentives to the memecoin ecosystem. Unlike traditional meme projects that rely on hype alone, this competition aligns incentives with real market activity.
For projects looking to establish themselves in the Soneium ecosystem, this is an opportunity to:
- Prove market demand through real liquidity and trading volume.
- Gain organic exposure from being ranked on the leaderboard.
- Attract long-term liquidity providers through ACS-backed incentives.
This contest is not just about speculation — it is about building sustainable value within the Soneium ecosystem.
With ACS Season 5 now live and the Soneium Creator Contest set to begin, the next wave of memecoins has a chance to make a real impact.
